What Time is the Kentucky Derby Today?

The post-time for the 149th Kentucky Derby is set for 6:45 pm Eastern Time (ET).

NBC's live coverage will begin at noon ET, hosted by Mike Tirico. The coverage will include pre-race analysis, interviews, and the race itself.

Horse Racing Coverage

In addition to the Kentucky Derby, NBC will provide coverage of several other horse races throughout the day, including:

  • Undercard races leading up to the Derby
  • Other races from Churchill Downs
  • Analysis and commentary from horse racing experts

The horse racing coverage will air from noon to 7:30 pm ET in Los Angeles on traditional television.
